In this new build property overlooking the West Coast, a very wide lounge window has been softened with pinch pleat curtains on an electrically operated pole with Swarovsky Crystal finials that are perfect with the modern feel of the room.

In the kitchen, the big arched picture windows are dressed with voile curtains: there are two Roman blinds at smaller windows, and lots of matching cushions on a corner sofa.

In the Master bedroom, also overlooking the coast, a glazed gable end window (often a bit of a challenge to curtain), has lightweight drapes held back with simple tiebacks so that the view is not hidden.

The colours throughout are cool and light, giving an airy feel to the whole house.
